I haven’t written anything for ages so here I am.

Okay so on Friday night I did this concert that me and two friends spent two months planning, it was a variety concert and we ran and organised it totally on our own, with minimal teacher input. It was so much work and we practically went crazy but it was so much fun and so worth it. We learnt so much. And we raised money for our music department, yay.

I now have one week of classes left and then two weeks of block exams then two months of holidays! Woooo! And I’m going to South Australia, I’m looking forward to the markets

Procrastination; To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness.

Basically I have six assignments, two music exams and then who knows how many school exams.  Once the next three weeks are over, I will feel so much better.  Biology excursion next week!   Better pay the money for that…

I don’t like being single, it’s been like two weeks and I already want to be in a relationship again.  There’s something so nice and warm and safe about being in a long-term relationship…

I need to read To Kill A Mockingbird again, damn unseen in-class essay.

R.I.P. Farrah Fawcett

So today was a grim day for deaths aye.  But I’m already sick of all this crap about Michael Jackson.  My friend and I have been arguing about him; she says he was a legend, I say he was a creep – a great performer and that, but a creep.  I just hope that his kids will get a chance to live a normal life now.

But anyway, I got a new monitor today; 23.5 inches and it’s black and shiney. Only thing is that because it’s so wide, every time I look at a photo it’s really stretched and wide and it’s heaps annoying.

In other news, I’m now on holidays!  Yay.  Had my last day of work experience today and only went for two hours, haha.  Pretty good life.  It was fun but I’m glad it’s over.

My head hurts from my brother pulling my hair >.< But it’s okay because I bit his arm really hard so it’ll bruise ^_^

Love heals

I love having meals at odd times.  For example I had dessert at 10.57am yesterday and then dessert at about 9.43am this morning.  I just crave something sweet and there’s no nice junk in this house.  I felt really mature this morning; when mum dropped me home from band and went to work she gave me a set of keys and I went and opened everything up and then a delivery guy came and I almost felt like it’s my house, haha.

I wrote a letter for Cedric last night but I forgot to take it to school and give it to him… actually that reminds me, I have to make Shannon a card.  I’ll do that now!  I’ll also make some noodles.

Now that I’ve done that, I really should do some music theory.  Like I really should or my piano teacher will probably eat me.  And on that note, I bid you farewell. ♥

So John (my saxophone) has been kind of annoying lately and I got him serviced and stuff but him was still hard to play so for about a month I’ve been using my teacher’s saxophone and I just started playing John today again after getting a different type of reed and it’s so much better! I feel like I’m coming home after a holiday. You know when you’re away for a while and it’s fun but you realised how much you missed home when you get back? That’s what it was like! It was great playing Allyson’s saxophone but when I played John again it was like “ahh I’m home”. Is that odd? I don’t know, but I’m so glad to play him again ^_^

I seem to have this thing for not posting anything for like a month, then I do two posts in one day… I don’t know why ;l oh well.

My heart goes shalalalala

Okay so I’m not quite sure if I can be bothered to actually write a blog today… But we’ll see what happens.

I’m addicted to Questionable Content comics, check them out, but you probably wanna start from the start or it might not make much sense.
Questionable Content There’s over a thousand of them so it takes a while to read them all, I starting reading them on… Monday maybe or was it Sunday… I dunno but now it’s Wednesday and I’m up to 608.

But anyway, so I had leftovers for lunch today and I was getting some rissoles out of this dish and there was sausages in there as well the fat that had run out of them into the dish had cooled down and turned into a jelly-like fatty substance in the fridge over night. I was all like “EWWW” and started poking it with a knife. It was amusing as long as I didn’t think about what it actually was.

I’ve been listening to nothing but musical soundtracks for the past 5 days, mainly Rent, Wicked, Chicago and Dreamgirls. I love the Rent soundtrack; I had La Vie Boheme stuck in my head during my freakin’ maths B exam!

Well this has been fun but I should really fix up my hair, do a saxophone practice and some music theory.

GAHHHHH, I need to practice saxophone seeing as I have you know, an exam coming up -.- plus I need to do music theory for my musicianship exam, plus I have a sax assesment coming up at school… plus I have 4 performances at school on Friday… Great fun! -.-

Cedric is telling me that I have 10 minutes before he’s going to force me to go practice saxophone I’m making him keep me on a schedule… kind of.

Gosh I love this song. Okay, I only have 6 minutes left and I have things to do on Facebook, so byeeee (haha, Cedric) ♥

Okay, time for the other two topics I mentioned earlier.

Smells:

I love so many smells! New leather, old books, camp fires, new cars, rain, bleach (oh gosh how LOVE the smell of bleach), antibacterial hand sanitiser, shampoo & conditioner, paint, the way my house smells when the air-con has been on and then you come home, various perfumes, Linx, my piano teacher’s smell, Cedric’s smell, Neipsy’s smell, the list goes on…  I’m always excited to find a new smell that I love.

Stationary:

Stationary is mighty fine.  I love all the different types you can get.  You can get those rulers with handles, pens with all sorts of things in them, erasers in all shapes and sizes, awesome notebooks, really pretty writing paper, funky address books, plus so much more!  And there’s nothing more satisfying than a pen that like gels with your hand and it’s like you’re writing on air or something, ahhh I love that feeling!  Almost as much as I love the smell of bleach!

I want to do more photography.  Damnit I want a new camera!  And I want that tenor saxophone…
